The story of a wee Scottish lad whose loyalties are torn between his mother's lowland and his father's highland roots. Whilst trying to resolve the conflict, Wee Gillis becomes becomes one of the finest pipers in Scotland! The songs are all traditional Scottish airs arranged by Philip Ledger for children's voices and piano with optional flute 'cello and bagpipes.
