"The King with Cold Feet" is our longest-established, best-selling musical with hundreds of performances in several parts of the world from Huddersfield to Rome and from Coventry Cathedral to Singapore! It comes in three editions:

1 The original edition is for two speaking parts (The King and the narrator) plus SATB chorus and chorus parts for an unlimited number of children. Duration 50 minutes.

2 Primary Schools edition which is the same as the original edition but without the SATB chorus. Duration 50 minutes

3 Extended edition with a larger cast, an SATB chorus and chorus parts for any number of children, plus more musical numbers.

The magical moments for this show came in November 2006 when The King was played by Sir Thomas Allen.

See the "Musicals" section of our Schools music for more details.

"Playing with Dreams" is a 21st century take on Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Instead of the forthcoming marriage of the Duke of Milan, it's concerned with the forthcoming opening of a new play, but you may still recognise the characters. There's Big Ron and Tania. There are the young lovers, Hermione and Les, Denis and Bryony. Then there's Nick, who plays the bass in a local rock band (he specialises in the bottom notes). You'll get the drift!

The format for this show is similar to The King with Cold Feet. There's an edition for Children and adults combined and there's a Primary School edition. The duration is currently 50 minutes and the full-length edition is still being written - watch this space!
